Dr. Daniel A. Potter is a Professor Emeritus of Entomology at the University of Kentucky, where he spent over 40 years establishing an internationally recognized program in urban landscape and turfgrass entomology.  His groundbreaking research focuses on balancing urban plant health with environmental stewardship, particularly through urban pollinator conservation, the "Trees for Bees" project, and pesticide risk mitigation. An elected Fellow of the Entomological Society of America (ESA), Dr. Potter has received numerous national accolades for his contributions to the horticultural, turfgrass, and land care industries.
